Here's a link to the script that I use to convert my movies: x264convert.txt (rename it to .sh if you like).
I haven't gotten the rotation working - when I enable it, the output is 6-7 times as large, and the colors are ALL wrong. Luckily mplayer can just rotate the film while playing :)
